Golden Milk

This traditional Ayurvedic drink is very nourishing and grounding. A cup of warm golden milk is the best way to end your day, especially during fall and winter when we have colder weather. It’s very calming and has many benefits like anti-inflammatory, bone nourishment, and immune booster.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of grass-fed cows milk or any alternative milk
  • Pinch of Himalayan pink salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • Pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions

In a small saucepan, mix milk and spices together, mix them well, and warm them over medium heat for about 3-5 minutes or until you see it start to simmer.

Pour it into your favorite cup and add a little honey or maple syrup.
